Whether your child is just starting to explore their interests in Class 9, planning key academic and stream choices in Class 10, or gearing up for college applications in Classes 11 and 12, our approach is designed to provide the proper guidance at the right time.

We focus on:

  • Building self-awareness and motivation
  • Curating exploration opportunities
  • Encouraging project-based learning
  • Offering academic and extracurricular planning
  • Involving parents in key decisions—without adding stress

Below, you’ll find detailed plans for each grade that outline how we workwhat we focus on, and how we support your child’s growth at every step.

Class 9 Counseling Plan: Building the Right Foundation

At this stage, our goal is not to push college preparation early but to help the student build a strong foundation for future growth. Class 9 is the right time to nurture interests, build self-awareness, and begin light profile-building in a stress-free, exploratory manner.

What We Will Do in Class 9

1. Discover Interests and Strengths
We begin with structured conversations, reflection tools, and optional psychometric tests (like RIASEC) to understand the student’s natural interests, aptitudes, and learning styles.

2. Curated Exploration of Interests
Based on what we discover, we recommend age-appropriate platforms and activities to explore different fields such as coding, business, writing, design, psychology, and science. For example:

  • Scratch or Code.org for students curious about programming
  • Canva for budding designers
  • BizKids for students interested in entrepreneurship

3. Micro-Projects for Skill Building
We guide the student in undertaking small, self-driven projects that give them a sense of creation and accomplishment. These could be things like:

  • Designing a game or animation
  • Creating a blog or video explainer
  • Building a science model or digital artwork

4. Light Personal Development
We gently introduce activities to build confidence and communication skills:

  • Public speaking and debates (school-level or MUNs)
  • Reading and writing challenges (e.g., NYT Student Contests)
  • Time management and study habit tools

5. Academic Readiness Check
While we don’t offer academic tutoring, we ensure the student’s academic path aligns with their emerging interests, and can recommend Olympiad or enrichment resources if needed.

6. Parent Communication and Progress Updates
We provide regular updates (typically every quarter) to parents, summarizing progress, interest areas explored, and suggestions for continued growth at home.

How We Work:

  • Monthly 1-on-1 sessions with the student
  • Simple milestone tracking and journaling
  • Resource sharing tailored to the student’s interest areas
  • Parent check-ins every 3–4 months

Our approach is light, nurturing, and personalized. The goal is to ensure the student grows into their potential with confidence, curiosity, and direction.

Class 10 Counseling Plan: Sharpening Focus, Expanding Horizons

Class 10 is a pivotal year—it’s the bridge between exploration and strategic preparation. Our focus here is to deepen the student’s interests, build a stronger academic and extracurricular profile, and help them begin aligning their choices with long-term goals, including potential streams in Class 11.

What We Will Do in Class 10

1. Deepen Self-Awareness and Career Exploration

We revisit and refine interest assessments (RIASEC or similar) and introduce career clusters to help students explore realistic pathways. We also initiate early discussions about future academic and professional aspirations.

2. Guided Subject and Stream Planning

We help students make informed decisions about subject selection for Class 11 based on interests, aptitude, career alignment, and competitiveness for overseas colleges (e.g., Science vs. Commerce, Math vs. Applied Math, etc.).

3. Advanced Skill-Building and Mini Projects

We support students in deepening their involvement in one or two areas of interest through:

  • Building a portfolio (e.g., design, writing, coding)
  • Entering competitions (Olympiads, writing contests, hackathons)
  • Structured short-term projects (e.g., data analysis, research summaries, creative pieces)

4. Summer Planning and Pre-College Exploration

We help students plan for meaningful summer activities like:

  • Online courses (Coursera, EdX, etc.)
  • Volunteering or internships
  • Research with local college professors or mentors
  • Attending virtual pre-college programs

5. Communication, Writing, and Critical Thinking

We introduce structured writing practice, especially reflective and analytical writing. Public speaking and group discussion activities are also encouraged. These build early confidence for future essays and interviews.

6. Academic Pathway and Olympiad Guidance

We review the student’s academic strengths and suggest enrichment if needed. Where applicable, we guide students toward participation in Olympiads or academic competitions aligned with their interests.

7. Parent Collaboration and Decision Milestones

We provide regular updates to parents, particularly around Class 11 subject planning, summer strategy, and extracurricular development.

How We Work:

  • Monthly or bi-monthly 1-on-1 sessions with the student
  • Interest-based planning with tracked development goals
  • Subject and stream selection frameworks with decision support
  • Quarterly updates to parents with timelines and recommendations

Class 10 is where curiosity begins to shape into a roadmap. Our job is to make sure students take their next academic steps with purpose, confidence, and clarity.
