I hope exam season is treating you reasonably well.

In the middle of all this, we published a new piece this week that gets at something I find myself explaining to parents again and again:
strong applications usually do not get built in Class 12. They get revealed in Class 12.
The real work often starts earlier, when students still have time to explore properly, change direction, and build interests that feel natural rather than manufactured.
That is why Class 9 and 10 matter so much.
Not because a 14-year-old needs to start “building a profile.” They do not.
But because this is the stage where students can begin to understand what genuinely holds their attention, what they keep returning to, and what kind of work gives them energy instead of just adding stress.
That usually makes Class 11 and 12 very different. Clearer. Less forced. Much less panicked.
