College admissions counseling.
Grade gives us a starting point, but stage matters just as much. A Grade 12 student may need full application execution, essay-only support, or one independent review. The options below separate those clearly.
Our main focus is US and UK admissions. If your child is considering India or another country alongside those options, tell us when we discuss the scope.
Comprehensive counseling packages
These are the integrated programs for families who want sustained guidance across planning, positioning, applications, and decision-making.
Grades 9-10
Early planning and foundation work
Best when your child is still exploring interests and you want structure before application pressure begins.
- Interest exploration and academic planning
- Subject selection and activity strategy
- Subject direction, summer planning, and early activity focus
Grades 11-12
Full counseling through the application cycle
Best when your child is in Grade 11 or 12 and you want one integrated package across academic positioning, college direction, essays, applications, recommendations, and interviews.
- Academic positioning and activity focus
- Testing timeline and early college direction
- Essays, applications, recommendations, and interviews
Grade 12 / current cycle
Application execution package
For families joining in Grade 12 with the core application work ahead and a focused need for execution support.
- College list refinement and application strategy
- Personal statement, supplements, and activities section
- LOR guidance, interview preparation, and final review
A focused current-cycle package. It does not include multi-year profile-building before Grade 12.
Application scope: The Grades 11–12 and Grade 12 packages cover an agreed college list. The standard US scope is up to 10 colleges; country mix, application volume and timeline are discussed before we agree the engagement.
Essay support without full application management
Choose a single-statement review for one working draft, multi-essay review for feedback across the application essays, or full coaching for help from discovery through revision.
One main statement · one review
Single Essay Idea & Structure Review
For students with a working Common App or complete UCAS personal statement who want an independent view of the idea, evidence, and structure.
- Advance reading and one call with Apoorv
- One written review with prioritised next steps
- The student revises; no second draft review included
Drafts already in place
Multi-Essay Review Package
For students who have already decided their application strategy, essay direction, and topics, and want rigorous feedback on working drafts.
- Common App personal statement plus up to 20 supplemental responses
- Two structured feedback rounds per essay or response
- Review for structure, clarity, reflection, voice, and prompt fit
- The student makes the revisions and remains the author of every word
This does not include topic discovery, a positioning reset, college shortlisting, application forms, deadline management, recommendation strategy, or interview preparation.
From discovery through revision
Full Essay Coaching
For students who need the full process: discovering usable material, clarifying the application positioning, choosing topics, outlining, drafting, and revising.
- Common App personal statement plus up to 20 supplemental responses
- Story discovery, topic selection, outlines, and two feedback rounds
- Essay map, activities-section review, and recommender guidance
- Two mock interview sessions
Multi-Essay Review and Full Essay Coaching scope: One main personal statement and up to 20 supplemental responses on an agreed list, for US applications to up to 10 colleges. We discuss country mix, essay volume and timeline before agreeing scope. Full counseling already includes essay support; families do not add an essay package on top.
One decision. Proper advice.
AltView Deep Session
A focused working session for families who have a real admissions question now and want a clear recommendation, not a sales call.
- Shortlist and EA/ED Review: pressure-test the list, round choice, workload, and risk
- Profile and Positioning Review: identify what the application is saying and where it is still thin or scattered
- Application Readiness Review: check whether the college list, activities, recommendations, application materials, and timeline are on track before the next deadline
- Other Focused Decisions: MAPS interpretation, stream choice, admits choice, or US versus UK
Focused session
See the Deep Session page for the standard format, intake and booking.
By August, these should not be blank
For Grade 12 students applying abroad that year, the work does not need to be finished by August. It should, however, be moving.
- Two essay directions tested with real material
- A first working college list with essay workload and cost in view
- Specific research for Why Us and Why Major supplements
- Recommender notes with moments teachers can actually speak about
Not sure which option fits?
Use the grade as the starting point, then look at stage. Grades 9-10 usually need foundation work. Grades 11-12 usually need serious planning, application execution, or both. If the question is narrow, use the Deep Session.
